The smartPanel Mount for iPad Pro 10.5-in was designed by aerospace engineers to perform in the unique environment of the cockpit. The spring actuated mounting cradle securely holds the iPad in place during the roughest of turbulence. The clean, flush mount has a shallow chassis
allowing it to be easily installed in even the smallest of instrument panels. Built-in ports for the Apple Lightning plug and a 3.5mm audio cable help keep cables safely and securely positioned behind the panel, allowing you the ability to connect to power, data, and audio without
the cord mess.

As they are being used, iPads generate heat that can affect performance -- resulting in a high-temperature shut down when you might need it most! Pilots have found this out the hard way when using a temporary mounting solution like Velcro to attach their unit to the instrument panel. The
smartPanel Mount was designed with cooling in mind. Each mount has a built-in Fan Blower (14 or 28V) capable of supplying 4.6 Cubic feet per minute of Air and because it is powered by the aircraft you will not run out of battery. Each panel mounting tray features cooling channels to circulate Fan Blower air behind your iPad to keep it cool even under the heaviest of use.

Coverage
Guardian Avionics (CO Guardian LLC) warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage is registered automatically; retain your invoice as proof of purchase date.
Should a defect arise within the warranty period, Guardian Avionics will, at its sole discretion, repair the unit, replace it, or furnish a repaired unit. This is the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. Any repaired or replacement unit is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or for six (6) months, whichever is longer. No charge applies other than return postage.
This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
Exclusions
This warranty does not apply where the unit has been:
- opened, modified, or otherwise tampered with;
- damaged by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect; or
- affected by installation or soldering errors, for which Guardian Avionics accepts no responsibility.
Nor does it extend to any failure arising from a cause other than a defect in material or workmanship.

All implied warranties, including the implied warranties of description, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the warranty period stated above.
Guardian Avionics shall not be liable for loss of use, or for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, costs, or expenses incurred by any user of this product, whether such claim arises in contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — including any personal injury or property damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, this product.
Certain states do not permit limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; accordingly, portions of the foregoing may not apply. This warranty confers specific legal rights, and the purchaser may hold additional rights that vary by jurisdiction.
Claim Procedure
- Verify that the serial number on the unit matches the number shown on your invoice.
- Request a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number using the online form at guardianavionics.com/pages/rma-request, or by telephone on 520-889-1177 or email to support@guardianavionics.com. An RMA number must be issued before any unit is returned. Units purchased through a dealer should be submitted to Guardian Avionics directly.
- Return the unit postage prepaid to the address below, marked with the RMA number and accompanied by proof of purchase date and a description of the fault.
